For those who do not feel like full beaches, long lines and a "normal" holiday, an adventure trip or adventure travel is just the thing.

Away from the well-known tourist places you get to know nature, wilderness, locals and foreign cultures much closer. You do not sleep in a regular hotel but pitch a tent, spend the night in a hammock or in a Bedouin tent.

Adventure means something different for everyone. For some it is an adventure to visit a temple. For others, it can be a canoe ride on a lonely river. Or a snow hike through untouched mountains and valleys. Or climbing. Or skydiving.
